Tom Paton is an internationally known, three-time Feature Film Director. He is also widely known for his Writing and Editing skills as well as diverse portfolio of work in the music and commercial sector. With over a decade of experience in film production and creative projects, Tom is one of the hardest working Director’s in today’s market.

At the age of twenty Tom co-founded a film/photography company called TPAKproductions, where he honed his skills as a camera operator, editor and story teller, making event promos, big budget music videos and TV adverts. He was lucky enough to be asked to work for some illustrious names in the music world including Flux Pavilion, Disclosure and Artful Dodger and for luxury brands such as Benefit Cosmetics, travel agents; Thomas Cook, and a whole host of festivals.

Tom grew up in West Midlands, England where his passion for story telling started. Originally he wanted to be a comic book artist, but at the age of fifteen he realised it was a different form of narrative he was most drawn to and film became the obvious choice. “I always had a goal and that was to have made my first feature film by the age of thirty, so writing and directing Pandorica always felt like something that was inevitable to me, even in those early days”.

Tom’s first movie PANDORICA saw a large, worldwide release in early 2016 and has put his name on the map as one of the most exciting genre film directors rising through the ranks. In 2018, his second feature film REDWOOD hit cinemas and DVD to critical acclaim, winning big at The National Film Awards. His third movie BLACK SITE, a Lovecraftian Action movie, will be playing some of the biggest festivals in the world before its 2019 release with fourth feature, horror movie STAIRS, going into production this summer. Critics widely praise his directing style and he has become a fan favourite on the Comic Con circuit as well as one of the strongest voices in independent cinema. His animated movie Realm Of The Damned, based on the popular 2000AD comic, has seen Tom’s portfolio expand even further and marked him as a firm favourite on the Motion Comic scene. Tom’s vocal fanbase continue to prove the rising popularity of this Director is not a one film fluke, with more and more discovering his work daily.
